My life comes down to this. Two faces. One choice.

Salem is my twin sister. She loved me. She protected me. She forgave me, even after I failed her. I just got her back after searching for three long, lonely years.

Then there’s Clay. Sweet yet intense and nursing a dark past of his own, he’s all the redemption I don’t deserve. He wants to open me up and know the insides of my soul. I want to let him, but I’m scared he’ll run from what he finds.

But I can’t have them both.

My name is Aria. And today, I must choose. One of the two people I love has to die.

Prologue

In moments like these, everything slowed. Salem always joked that it was life’s way of making sure you didn’t miss the turning points, the important bits. As if gravity sank heavier and heavier with the weight of the moment until the world was too heavy to turn and everyone held their breath.
It certainly felt like that now. My next action, my next word, would change all of our lives.
“Aria,” Clay’s deep voice reached my ears. “Whatever happens…I love you.” The usual assuredness and authority was gone. Instead, strain and hurt had crumpled up and shoved into his throat. Choose me. Save me. Love me.
Before him my life had felt like a stack of old movies; frames missing or out of order, muted crackling sound, flickering and shuttering away, unloved and unseen in an old unused cinema.
Then I found him. Or he found me.
He created a warm shield around me where I could be safe. He coaxed away all my layers and shed all my masks and his love soaked right into my skin, right into the very soul of me. He pulled out the fossil buried inside that had been my heart and breathed life into me.
How could I give up the man I loved? The one who loved me with a fierce and unwavering passion, the man who made me feel like I could defeat demons as long as he was by my side.
Winking in the threads of sunlight piercing through the solemn gray clouds, seed fluff twirled about me like swirling, dancing couples. Spinning around like Salem and I used to do in our backyard, hands clasped together tightly, turning round and round, eyes to the sky, our twin voices giggling and floating into the air like dandelions.
She had been my shield before Clay.
“I’m nothing without you, Aria,” Salem’s voice trembled, desperation leaking into the breaths between her words. Choose me. Need me. Love me.
How could I end her? I just got her back. For so long we shared almost everything, and she protected me. Her whole life had been about protecting me. Because she loved me that much.
How could I turn against her, toss her away like an old broken toy?
But I had to choose.
I could see us now, the three of us making a chain like when I was a kid, folding pieces of colored paper into rectangles, cutting out an arm, a leg, and half a head, and unfurling my new patterns in the light to reveal a line of paper dolls. Clay, Salem and I − we were all just paper dolls in a paper chain, me in the middle, each end pulling tighter and tighter until something had to tear.
Even now as I stare between Clay and Salem, trying to digest our impossible situation, Hope is still there, that terrible pixie, fluttering on my shoulder, whispering.
Maybe it doesn’t have to end this way?
Fuck you, Hope. Here’s the truth.
Nobody is coming.
No one will save us.
And someone isn’t going to make it out of this forest today.
“Choose,” my sister screamed. “It’s either him or me.”
My fingers tightened around my gun in a reflex. This was it. I either ended her. Or destroyed Clay.
I squeezed my eyelids shut for a moment, just for a moment of peace. Just for an instant I could shut out the inevitable, and in this blessed darkness I believed I could conceive a way that both could exist in my life. A way that I could choose Salem and Clay.
You can’t have both.
You tried.
You.
Can’t.
Have.
Both.
Choose now.
But how?
What do you do when someone puts a gun to your head? Clay’s words came back to me, echoing as loud in my mind as if he had just spoken them. You refuse to bend. You push back. You find another way. You take that gun off him and put it back in his face. But you do not give in.
Find another way…
I knew what I had to do. A kind of peace settled on my skin, as delicate as gossamer, as light as silk.
I opened my eyes to a world of bright light until my vision adjusted. The torn and pained faces of the two people I loved came into focus. The only two people I’ve shared air with while we slept, the same two people I’d crawl into Hell to be with, and the only two people I would die for. I forced the ghost of a smile forward.
And turned the gun on myself.

— ABOUT THE AUTHOR: ANNE JOLIN
Hey y’all,
I was born and raised in Ladner, a small farm town just outside Vancouver, Canada. I grew up riding horses, shooting guns, and driving in trucks.

I never expected to be an author. A massage therapist? Yes. Take over the family construction company? Yes. But an author? No. Writing was something that snuck up on me and rooted itself into my life. It was beautiful to discover that love, and I’m truly grateful to say I’ve found my passion.

Since I’ve always been a creative person, it feels amazing to harness all of that energy and use it to tell a story I love. I enjoy incorporating bits of my real life into the stories I write. What parts are true? Hah. I’ll never tell—what would be the fun in that?

If I could leave y’all with one thing, it’s that life’s far too short to not live it out loud. Drown in your passions, hold on tight to the things that inspire you, and chase your dreams relentlessly. I can promise you without a doubt that you won’t regret it. I know I don’t.

Mad love,
Anne Jolin

                                Review:

4.5/5 "Charlie Girl" Stars!! It was extremely difficult to write this review, not because it wasn't good -trust me ladies it was Amazing!- but because the storyline itself is a hugeeee spoiler. I kid you not! (I even spent an hour making a beautiful edit that I couldn't use because it would give the entire book away) How do you explain a book that can't be explained??? Like I said extremely difficult! When a friend asked me the other day what this story was about, I froze. It took me a while to think about how I could describe it without taking the experience away and the best I could do was to say 'It's a secret!" Vague, I know! but fortunately for you, I’ve had some time to sit on it and to think about the best way to go about describing this book for y'all without any spoilers. (I Hope) My heart broke for Charlie. Life literally screwed with her and left her utterly broken! I could never imagine having to face what she did in this story. I don't blame her for suffering with depression. Her demons would eat me alive too! You can tell right from the start that the author poured her heart and soul into this book especially when it came to the way Charlie thought and acted. It was too real! Raw emotions like that cannot be faked. So of course I cried! I was trying to remain strong but Randa knew how to break through all of my defenses! I knew this book was an emotional read before jumping in, so I took all the measures to ensure I would not ugly cry cause Lord knows I've done enough of that for the week. I even went as far as to give myself a mental pep talk after a few pages or so, "You can do this Kelly. DO NOT CRY!!! Breathe,” which worked for the most part. Until the last 20 % when the flood gates decided to open. No matter how strong my will power was, Randa found a way to destroy it. She was dead set on making you as the reader bleed the same way she had when she was in the process of writing this story. Slayter was literally the perfect man! The rich, handsome guy that every girl wants but yet he only has eyes for you. Yeah thats him alright! and to top it all off he was the sweetest and most patient man I have ever read. He loved the "broken girl" even when she couldn't love herself. He always caught her every time she tried to run and he stood by her side through every dark situation. "I've got you Charlie." *Sigh* I don't drink, but this book has me wanting to walk into the closest bar I see and steal a man's drink in hopes that I would find my "Slayter". A girl can dream right??? (wish me luck, ladies!) This book was so damn beautiful Randa, from one Phoenix to another, I congratulate you for not only taking a chance on letting the world see how ugly life with depression could get but for also showing many sufferers of depression, that its okay to rely on someone to catch when you fall. This book was truly touching and I hope it will inspire everyone who reads it to live life to the fullest and to appreciate every single person in your life! YOU MUST READ THIS!!! Matter of fact, go right now and add this beauty to your TBR!

Review (Kelly)
Rating: 5/5 infinity stars!

Wow! How could I possibly explain this book to you guys?? Nothing I could ever say could do this beautiful book any justice! It's just one of those books you need to go into blind and enjoy the emotional ride it takes you on. So I wont be reviewing this book in great detail. My advice to you is to be careful when reading other blogger's review for this book because I dont want anyone spoiling anything for you. Just take my word on it when I say this book is phenomenal and you really do need to go into it blind. Trust me, you wont regret it! Tillie Cole captures the beauty and the blissful moments, between two soulmates who found each other at such a young age and who experienced life to the fullest even when faced with the hardest obstacles. Yes its a tear jerker (have your tissues ready) but it's also packed with so much love and happiness it will make your heart burst! I can say wholeheartedly and without a shadow of a doubt that A Thousand Boy Kisses will be my number one book this year- possibly ever! All thats left to complete this perfection is for it to be picked up for a movie. Watch out Nicholas Sparks I think you have some stiff competition! Thank you so much Tillie, for not only writing a masterpiece that is as special as special can be but for also changing the way I view life. I will always remember moonbeam hearts and sunshine smiles. Forever and Always!

Cover Reveal: Six by Ker Dukey

Title:SIX (Men By Numbers Series Book 2)

Author: Ker Dukey

Release Date: Please see “A letter from author”

Cover Designer: Amy Queau

Goodreads: http://bit.ly/1O1vWt6

SIX:

I grew up in the foster system and bounced around from place to place… I know what you’re thinking.
Bad things happened to me and fucked me up?
Don’t feel bad for me. I didn’t know a privileged life therefore I didn’t miss one.
I was what I was and I made it work. I actually had a few good homes in my lifetime, met some good people but that’s not what my stories about.
It’s not a Romeo and Juliet saga either, even if our stories do revolve around similar bases.
I knew a real love, a rare love… a love between two people that were never supposed to fall in love.
Rival gang members are never allowed to fall in love and it cost us everything.
The things I learned growing up the way I did is this:
Love is deadly and often not real.
People come and go and only the rare few stick around when shit gets tough.
I learned the hard way what lurks behind false smiles and that deceitful truths get whispered in sexual moans.
I was taught that dark souls are not born but they are created and you can avoid them, hide from them or learn and become them.
Revenge sculpt and molded me into the darkest of souls and with my wrath comes agony and torment more severe then hell itself.
I took out six of the men who hurt my woman and I will be coming for the rest.

Get in my way and I’ll come for you too.

“SIX?”
I awake with a jolt, my hand reaching effortlessly for the blade kept under my pillow. With the other hand I grab the intruder around the neck and bring them down on to the bed. In a quick flurry of movements I’m straddling the invader with the blade to their throat. The room comes into focus and I become fully aware that I'm not stuck in the dream world any longer but reality, when I recognize the wild, scared eyes of Misty Cooper, my new bar manager staring up at me. Her soft, small frame pinned beneath my own.
Just above the sound of her heavy, restricted breathing is that persistent beeping that was in my dream.
“I didn’t know you were here.” She whispers barely audible.
I remove the knife from her throat and stand abruptly from the bed.
Sitting up her eyes widen and then dart to her lap. I hate the paleness of her cheeks and the glisten in her eyes, knowing I caused her fear.
“I’m sorry,” I quickly push past my lips. “I was working late last night, on a clients tattoo so I crashed here.”
“You don’t need to explain.” She tells me shaking her head. She won’t look at me and it makes me fucking angry with myself.
“Misty, look at me?”
...“Ermm, you’re naked.”
Her cheeks flush a beautiful crimson as her eyes dart up to my junk and then quickly back down to her lap, her teeth popping out to worry her bottom lip.
She’s twenty-five years old surely this isn’t the first naked man she’s been around?
“It’s just a dick Misty, I’m sure you’ve seen one before.” I grab the pair of jeans from the chair I slung them over the night before and slip them up my legs.
“Not that big” I hear her mumble under her breath. Folding my arms over my chest. I quirk a brow at her. “What was that?”
Her eyes pop wide and she quickly shakes her head “Nothing, nothing”

A Letter From The Author

Dear my wonderful readers,
As some of you might know (if you follow me on social media) I’m currently ‘very’ pregnant. My daughter is due in less than three weeks and although we are extremely pleased to have our precious gift join us, it has been very tiring and will continue to be so. I’m telling you this to ask that you have patience when it comes to Six’s release. I’m hoping to stay on a steady writing course but we all know baby’s can be unpredictable. As can recovery after surgery, and that’s how our daughter must enter this world.
I have given Six, a July release date to relieve any pressure on my part. I may finish and release sooner but would rather give a later date to begin with than an earlier one and have to push it back. Six is shaping up to be a wonderful, fascinating and extremely yummy character and I know any wait will be worth it.
Thank you for your understanding and support, you all mean the world to me and I can’t wait to bring you Six’s story.
I hope you like the cover as much as I do, Amy Queau is very talented, and done an amazing job capturing everything I envisioned for this cover.
I would just like to mention a huge thank you to you amazing bloggers. Thank you so much for all your selfless work in sharing this cover and any of my work. As soon as I have dates for arcs an email will be sent out to inform you.
All the best,
Ker.

Review: Beneath The Vine by Lillian Bryant

Releases: March 20 2016

Synopsis:Selene Cavalier spent the majority of her time behind her cello. Her dull life was made up of dark notes, hard work and sheet music.

Bennett Monterosso did what he had to do to get his family’s winery up and running. He didn’t have time for his old ways. His quiet dominance had been silenced. His need was just waiting below the surface, until now.

Having her—it was all he could think about as he watched the young woman behind the cello.

Gage Calibri left his best friend, his home and his tarnished past five years ago. He suppressed his darker tastes, his physical appetites, and his secrets until he no longer had a choice.

It only took one night for these three lives to collide and to be altered forever.

This wasn’t what they were expecting. This wasn’t who she was. Each moment they sank deeper, each minute they felt more, each second they took her further.

Unhinged… restrained… this obsession… this love… it was all consuming.

Review:(Kelly)

Rating: 5/5 stars!

I don't even know where to begin with this review!
I haven't been able to ground myself since finishing it. My head is still in the clouds and consumed with all things GAGE.
Thats right I'm #TeamGage! I guess I can start off by saying love triangles are not my thing- never were.
but seeing as Lillian Bryant has a way with making me fall madly in love with her stories I couldn't wait to read it.
I had this bad boy sitting on my kindle for some time and I was just waiting for that perfect moment to dive in. Although I want to kick myself for waiting so damn long but I guess in the end it payed off seeing as I was able to buddy read it with the soul sister. I wasn't sure if our friendship could survive this beautiful and heart wrenching story because she was #TeamBennett and I was #TeamGage but it did -just barely! I loved how our rants and blowouts made this experience so much better! Bennett is a business man who went through a life altering experience and found himself stuck in some dealings that he couldn't find a way out of.
When Gage's business brings him back to his hometown, he runs into Bennett (his childhood best friend) which he hadn't spoken to in 5 years. In that moment, at Bennet's Winery opening they both find themselves eyeing the same girl Selene (the cello player) and it was as if things hadn't changed between them even after all the years they spent apart. Things get messy and they both fall in love with her. I don't want to go into too much detail even though I can discuss this book for as long as anyone would listen to me but I would just end up spoiling the experience for you all. Just know this book is a MUST READ and all of you should pre-order it and read it as soon as it lands on your kindles! Do not be an idiot like I was and wait! The author has truly outdone herself with this story since she was able to penetrate my stone cold heart and made me ugly cry like a freakin baby towards the ending - I never fuckin cry!!!
Ugh, just goes to show how even though you hate love triangles the magic of an author's writing can change your opinion on it.
