Review: Ink and Lies By: S.L Jennings

Here's my review can't tell you enough how amazing this read was! (Lisa)

Author: S.L Jennings
Release Date: February 9th 2016
Format: Kindle
Pages: 249

From International Best Selling Romance Novelist, Hope Hughes, comes a gripping, heartfelt tale of two lovers, fighting for the freedom to…

No. Scratch that. Too cheesy.

…two people, torn apart by the tumultuous tides of life, only to discover refuge in…

WTF? What does that even mean? DELETE.

…two people, confused as shit as to where they should be and who they should love and none of this means a damn thing because it’s all lies!
I’m not Hope Hughes. I’m not some fierce woman romance machine. Hell, I’m not even a woman.
I’m a liar.
And while I refuse to believe my own BS, deceit masked in heartfelt phrases of love and devotion, I want to make her believe them. Because maybe—just maybe—if she can find the soul within my words, she’ll also be able to find the truth scribbled on my heart.
You see, I once lived for the perfect plot twist.
I just never expected to actually liveit.
This is my story. Well, maybe her story. I just wish I could make it our story.
The one I’m still writing. (less)

This was my first time reading any work from author S.l Jennings, I'm not gonna lie the cover is what pulled me in how cute is it right? (Yes I'm a cover whore) I can't believe I almost missed this read also thank god for Goodreads recommendations!

In the book we meet #AugusyRhysCalloway (Such a distinguished name) he's a playboy/ romance novelist with an intriguing secret that doesn't believe in love. Who happens to have this amazing best friend names Fiona, Who's happens to be the girl next door && a hopeless romantic! So you know there is gonna be some drama (cute little Fiona quirk she's the only person who gets to call August by his middle name Rhys)

BFF Fiona && August  (bless their  souls) learn that sometimes it takes your world to be shaken up to realize that you might mean something more to one another than originally planned && can't see life without each other in it. Heck I knew right from the first chapter going in that these two kids were about to get a really heavy dose of LOVE filled with angst, heartbreak, truth, SEX && more angst! ( In that order)  hell everyone in the book knew except these two knuckle heads.

Final Thoughts:

Ink and Lies is a book that makes you realize that sometimes what you're searching for is right in front of you all along you just never really saw it! Its light hearted feel good old fashion best friends who need to realize their true feelings for one another I gave it 5/5
