Persistence of VisionTitle:Persistence of Vision (Interchron #1
Author: Liesel Hill
Genre: New Adult, Dystoipan
Publisher: Tate Publishing
Publication Date: January 29 2012
Hardcover: 386 pages

In a world where collective hives are enslaving the population and individuals have been hunted to the verge of extinction, Maggie Harper, and independent 21st Century woman, must find the strength to preserve the freedom of the future, but without the aid of her memories.

After experiencing a traumatic time loss, Maggie is plagued by a barrage of images she can't explain. When she's attacked by a creep with a spider's web tattoo, she is saved by Marcus, a man she's never met, but somehow remembers. He tells her that both he and her creepy attacker are from a future in which individuals are being murdered by collectives, and Marcus is part of the rebellion. The collectives have acquired time travel and they plan to enslave the human race throughout all of history. The flashes Maggie has been seeing are echoes of lost memories, and the information buried deep within them is instrumental in defeating the collective hives.

In order to preserve the individuality of mankind, Maggie must try to re-discover stolen memories, re-kindle friendships she has no recollection of, and wade through her feelings for the mysterious Marcus, all while dodging the tattooed assassins the collectives keep sending her way.

If Maggie can't fill the holes in her memory and find the answers to stop the collectives, the world both in her time and in all ages past and future will be doomed to enslavement in the grey, mediocre collectives. As the danger swirls around her and the collectives close in, Maggie realizes she must make a choice: stand out or fade away...

My Review:

Persistence of Vision (Interchron #1) starts off with Maggie Harper and her brother partying it up in good old Las Vegas, But then without warning Maggie has these visions that happen so quickly that before she can release what’s happening she wakes up 12 hours later in a hotel room with her brother and with no recollection of how she got there you know that saying what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas well were about to find out if it’s true.

Then where thrown into Maggie’s life about year later she still trying to come to terms of what happen in Vegas that night but she is trying to move on from that night and then she gets attacked by some guy who has this weird spider looking web tattoo across his face .Then out of nowhere here’s another guy coming to her rescue and now Maggie is on the run with this guy and the only thing she knows about him is that his name is Marcus and somehow she has a connection to him.

Then Maggie is dragged into a world at war where humans are being enslaved by something called the  Collective Hives  and they will stop at nothing to have Maggie killed what a thrill ride from then on. Marcus lets Maggie know he is part of a rebellion fighting against the hive and that Maggie is a Prophet brought fourth to help save mankind. It’s a lot for a girl to take in I tell you but that doesn't stop Maggie’s she is a heroin all her own she is strong, brave ,fierce and she is not giving up without a fight.

My Final Thoughts:

One of the things I loved about Liesel’s writing was how scientific she was especially when it came to the brain I could not put this book down it was like an explosion of knowledge thrown at you and with the twist of dystopian my new found love I could have asked for anything better!!! I need to stop writing cause if I don’t I’m going to start spilling all these spoilers if you haven’t read dystopian yet I suggest you start with Persistence of Vision (Interchron #1) you won’t be disappointed.
