 This weeks question:
What writing device or trick most irritates you when reading a book? For example, if an author employs an omnipotent narrator that is sometimes considered bad form.

Well what I find annoying when reading a book is when the two main characters who are clearly destined for one another fall in love so fast with no story-line to back it up. Just one flirtatious look/kiss and BAM! there in love I have read books that where so quick in the romance department I almost missed it! Its kinda crazy all I ask is please try & back up the romance :)

  1. Yes, I don't mind insta-love, but insta-physical-relationship gets really unrealistic. I mean, who kisses someone they JUST met?! ;)

  7. I am right there with you. Insta-love drives me crazy. If it is one sided I can understand- but when both people fall instantly in love it is not realistic.

  8. Hi! New follower here. I think most of us can agree with insta-love being one of the most annoying tricks out there. It's not believable. Insta attraction definitely but full on in love ready to run to the chapel love, highly unlikely. Thanks for sharing.

Also, I am giving away a Kindle or Nook (winners choice) on my blog if you are interested. There is only 1 day left to enter!

    Peace & Love
